Stevie

Stevie was rescued from a hoarding situation along with 23 other pigs in 2018. When he arrived at the sanctuary, he was very scared and unsure of his new surroundings. He stayed close to the girls he had been housed with, finding comfort and security in their familiar presence. As Stevie settled in, we learned that he has difficulty with his eyesight, particularly with his peripheral vision. Because of this, he can be easily startled and needs extra patience, understanding and care as he navigates his surroundings. Stevie may have arrived frightened and uncertain, but he is now safe. He will never again have to worry about neglect, overcrowding or being without the care he deserves. Stevie will live here at the sanctuary, surrounded by love, compassion and friends who understand him. He will be loved and adored for the rest of his life.
