About Us

Saving Animals & Healing Hearts, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization located in Ramona, CA, dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of abused and neglected animals. We rescue horses, donkeys, mini horses, ponies, pigs, goats, alpacas, emus, turkeys, ducks, geese, chickens, dogs, and other domesticated animals. If a rescued animal can't be rehomed for any reason, they become a permanent resident at our facility. Rescued animals are never euthanized for expedience.

Along with our compassionate donors, sponsors, and volunteers, we are creating loving, caring, and safe homes for rescued animals. We're driven by a single goal: to do our part in making the world a better place — building productive relationships and a positive impact with all of our pursuits.
