Meet Lena - Spicy in all the right ways
Lena, once an athletic star, she suffered a fractured coffin bone and was heading down a bad road. Thanks to our incredible vet team and a lot of hard dedication by our volunteers, Lena’s fracture is stable and though she doesn’t have the freedom to run at will, she enjoys her hand walks and visits around the sanctuary. She is medically maintained with minimal medication, soft ground, sand in her enclosure and more love than she ever imagined!
