With us since 2019, made a permanent part of the family during COVID.
Kiwi, has lived with us since May of 2019 when his owners were no longer able to keep him they reached out to us. One of our goals here at SAHH is to educate pig owners as much as possible and because of the overwhelming numbers of abandoned pigs - we would, if we could do just about anything to keep pigs and their families together. That being said, we offered to board Kiwi here until his owner made arrangements that included keeping him in their family. Then came COVID and the devastating hardship it’s caused on all of us. Kiwi’s owners were no longer able to pay his board, or offer support for medical bills. Kiwi already is a part of our farmly - so we made it official. Kiwi, was been legally relinquished to SAHH.
