Hannah

Hannah is an incredibly sweet, friendly girl with a heart as gentle as they come. You may notice a similar description for several of our beautiful residents — and there is a reason for that. Hannah is one of a group of pigs rescued from the same severe neglect case at a local winery. In fact, Hannah was born just one day after we took in this large rescue case, beginning her life here at SAHH instead of in the terrible conditions from which her family had just been rescued. Despite everything surrounding their beginning, these girls are some of the sweetest, most loving pigs you could ever meet. Hannah absolutely adores attention and belly rubs, and when the summer temperatures climb, there are few things she enjoys more than cooling off with a nice dip in her kiddie pool. 💦🐷 Many of the pigs rescued from this case were eventually rehabilitated and placed into wonderful, loving homes. Others, including Hannah, remained here at Saving Animals & Healing Hearts and became permanent members of our sanctuary family. For Hannah, SAHH has been home almost from the very beginning. She will never have to wonder if she is safe. She will never have to go without the care she needs. And she will spend the rest of her life surrounded by people who love her. From a baby born in the midst of a heartbreaking rescue to the happy, belly-rub-loving girl she is today — this is what sanctuary looks like.
